We want to thank you for the wonderful trip to Russia.  Your itinerary was perfect - we did a tremendous amount each day, but somehow never felt tired or overtaxed.  The mix of tourism, art, religion, and music kept everything fresh and leaving us always wanting more.  You gave us a one week immersion in Russian culture and we learned more than if we would have taken a semester-long course.

We had considered going to Russia on our own.  We are glad we didn't.  We visited more museums, heard more concerts, admired more churches, and enjoyed more fine meals in one week than we ever could have done on our own in a month and we did it for less.  Thank you for an experience of a lifetime.

We've traveled all over the world but usually on our own. We're just not tour-type people. Russia wasn't even on our list. What a mistake it would have been to miss this trip. It was a unique experience. Everything ran like clockwork, remarkable for a country that has the infrastructure Russia currently has. Kathie's extensive knowledge about Russia was skillfully shared from history, to culture, to stories of her own experiences. The chance to visit a local family and share dinner was both humbling and stimulating. The whole trip was a fascinating opportunity we would highly recommend to anyone. We're ready to go back again.

We were fortunate to be able to go on a one week trip to Russia, with Kathie.  The art, culture, and opportunities to see and visit places, we could have never done on our own.  Kathie made sure everything went as planned, and it made our week the most wonderful trip we have ever taken.  The out-of-the-way places we visited and the Russian quilters showing and selling their art were incredible experiences. We were able to visit with a young 19 year old student, Sergey.  The things he opened our eyes to, and the excitement he and his friend, Michael, showed as we told stories about our great country, America, was heartwarming.  They both want to visit us.  We have already heard from Sergey, and he has dubbed us his Aunt and Uncle from America.  Again, there just isn't enough I can say to everyone I see, except that they are missing out on a unique and valuable experience in Russia if they don't take a trip with Kathie.

Four times I've gone already and am preparing for my fifth. Have come to that point where people ask me if they can come along.  And they do then ask if they can go the next time...     For me Kathie is the consumate guide. One leaves that awesome country with an awareness and affinity that never fades away. A gentleman from Washington who was himself in the tourist business aptly described her as the 'tourguide's guide."  Of course, he was right.

David and I had a WONDERFUL trip to Russia.  We got such a flavor for the country and hope to go back again some day.  There is no way that we could have ever tried a trip like that on our own.  Your planning sure made the trip go very smoothly and we got to see so much in just a week.  We have never gone on a tour before and it was so nice the way you had things planned out for us. The food was great!  I think that one of the highlights was meeting with the college girls and getting to go to their homes for a dinner with them. Those girls were so much fun to talk with and hear about their lives living in Russia.  Thanks again for all your help with this trip.
